Josh Heath sat down with the creators of A COG in the Machine to talk about their new blockbuster larp Eskhaton, which is coming to Providence, RI in April of 2019. Take a listen to learn more about the the cosmic horror in this game with themes similar to the Lovecraftian Mythos, set in the hometown of the creator of that mythos. The venue is on the beach, and has all kinds of elements that make it perfect for the immersive experience Ken, Garrett, and Tyler have developed.

Join High Level Games for a playtest of Hero Builder, a new tabletop game using the tried and true d20 system, but with a huge range of customization. Our heroes form an intergalactic super group dedicated to keeping the peace and getting paid, and things get crazy really quickly! Each character was designed with the help of the game's creator and our GM, Thomas of the Table Candle team.
There’s a diplomatic function aboard the USS Bonaventure. The crew meet and mingle with some of the system’s most irritating and disturbing personalities, while being required to maintain a polite and friendly demeanor. Afterwards, a spatial anomaly occurs!
An accident occurs while vital cargo is being unloaded from the USS Bonaventure to Starbase 117. The Starbase crew take over handling the remaining cargo, and shore-leave is cut short. Upon arriving at Castoria, the crew prepares for an upcoming diplomatic function.
The crew of the USS Bonaventure, survivors of Wolf 359, reunite for a 5 year mission to the planet Castoria, a recent addition to the United Federation of Planets. Along the way the Bonaventure stops at Starbase 117 on the edge of the Shackleton Expanse. Shenanigans ensue.
